The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the accused persons including the two petitioners herein who happen to be the mother-in-law and father-in-law of the deceased are said to have tortured the sister of the informant for dowry by way of a motorcycle. She was ultimately done to death. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners happen to be the mother-in-law and fatherin-law of the deceased. The allegations are general and omnibus

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65825 of 2021(2) dt.25-04-2022 2/2 in nature. The husband of the petitioner is in custody and his application of regular bail being Cr. Misc. no.66574 of 2021 is pending before this Court. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent and are in custody since 25.8.2021.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the relationship of the two petitioners, the allegations being general and omnibus in nature, their having remained in custody for more than 7 months and the husband of the deceased being in custody, the Court directs the two petitioners to be enlarged on bail in connection with Raja Pakar P.S. Case no.62 of 2020 on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Vaishali at Hajipur.
