The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 304 (B), 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of committing torture and caused death of the deceased due to non-fulfillment of the demand of dowry. The specific allegation is against the husband of the deceased who is already in custody. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of overt act against the petitioner. The petitioner Urmila Devi is mother in law of the deceased. The co-accused Rina Devi has already been granted anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Hon'ble High Court.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65986 of 2021(2) dt.24-05-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Digha P.S.
