The petitioner seeks bail in Laukahi P.S. Case No. 124 of 2006 corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 430 of 2007, registered for the offence punishable under Section 395/398 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the bail application of petitioner was rejected vide order dated 02.06.2021. Vide order dated 01.12.2021, report was called for regarding the stage of trial and same has been received (kept at flag 'X'), which reveals that charge has already been framed and the case is fixed for prosecution evidence.

It is submitted that petitioner is in custody since 07.07.2020 having clean antecedent.
