2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 186 of 2022, lodged on 25.04.2022, under Section 386 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, the F.I.R. has been lodged against the owner of two mobile numbers against whom there is an allegation that they have demanded extortion money from the informant.

4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. The name of the petitioner has figured in this case by unknown person who mentioned his name on the call. He submits that the petitioner

Counsel further submits that the charge has already been framed. Counsel also submits that the petitioner has five criminal antecedents and he is in custody since 13.01.2024.

5. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, let the petitioner above named, be granted bail, only after being satisfied by the trial court that charge has been framed in this case and imposing its own conditions so that, the petitioner may not evade his appearance during trial, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of C.J.M., Jamui in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 186 of 2022, subject to the following conditions as laid down under Section 437(3) of Cr.P.C.
