ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 20-08-2015 The Petitioners seek revision of the judgment of conviction dated 12.11.2014 passed by the 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Muzaffarpur in Criminal Appeal No. 83 of 2002, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 20.08.2012 passed by the Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, (East) Muzaffarpur in (G.R. Case No. 1218 of 11989, Tr. No. 219 of 2002), by which he has convicted the Petitioners under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced them to undergo R.I. for three years and fine of Rs. 500/-.

Having gone through the judgment of conviction, I do not find any reason for interference with the same.

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.238 of 2015 dt.20-08-2015 However, considering the period of custody and the date of occurrence, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by the Petitioners.

With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the Revision Application stands dismissed.
