The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case No. 885 of 2015 registered under Sections 364-A and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the serious nature of allegation that the petitioner demanded ransom from the informant on phone, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application preferred under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is rejected.
