Case No. 23 of 2017 registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 353, 224, 225, 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3(I1)(r) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, whereby prayer for regular bail of the appellant has been rejected. Allegation against the appellant is of abusing the informant, who is a police office, by his caste name and of assaulting him by fists and slaps and tried to snatch his pistol. Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances and the submissions made above, this appeal is disposed of with observation to the learned Court below to release the appellant on bail after completion of two months in custody on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty-five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount.
