The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 30.7.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no.11907 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner is in custody since 28.10.2020.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the petitioner having remained in custody for over 1 year and the liberty granted by the aforesaid

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65667 of 2021(2) dt.01-12-2021 2/2 order dated 30.7.2021, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Bathnaha P.S. Case no.246 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi.
