The petitioners, invoking writ jurisdiction of this Court under Article-226 of the Constitution of India, have prayed for directing the Respondents to grant permission for opening of 18" diameter Saw Mill for manufacturing of wooden furniture. In this case, a counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of Respondents duly sworn by the Divisional Forest Officer, Aurangabad and in paragraph-6, it has been indicated that by resolution no. 3959 dated 24.12.2012, registration of 18" diameter Saw Mill used in carpentry activities and soling of shoes etc. have
Patna High Court CWJC No.22526 of 2011 (2) dt.04-08-2015 2/2 been exempted from the provisions of Section 25 of Bihar Saw Mill ( Viniyaman) Act, 1990. Exemption is provided with certain conditions.
