In the present case, the petitioner is claiming appointment on compassionate ground, claiming that his father, namely, late Late Dewnandan Singh, was a Chawkidar and, while discharging the duty, he died in harness and the petitioner is claiming that he should be given benefit of compassionate appointment, the State refused the same on the ground that at the time of death of his father, he was minor. In the affidavit, he has given his age as 29 years and, thus, when the father has died in the year 1985, he was hardly one year of
Patna High Court CWJC No.15705 of 2013 dt.05-12-2016 age.
In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant relief of compassionate appointment to the petitioner. This writ application is, accordingly, dismissed.
