The petitioner seeks bail in Alamganj P.S. Case No. 286 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364(A) of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant made allegation that when he had gone to City Civil Court, the petitioner kidnapped him for ransom and brought him to his house, but some how the petitioner jumped from the roof of the house of the petitioner. It is submitted that the occurrence took place on 2.08.2014 but the case was lodged on 6.08.2014. The informant himself admitted that he had taken four lacs from the petitioner as a rent while he was living in his house as a tenant.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9282 of 2015 (3) dt.01-05-2015 2/2 Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
The petitioner has got criminal antecedent and he was remanded in another case after being arrested in the present case. It appears that the petitioner is a well acquainted of the informant and the petitioner was living in the house of the informant as a tenant. The informant admitted to have taken money of Rs. 4,00,000/- from the petitioner as a rent. The deed of agreement is also brought on record as Annexure-II for selling some property, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna City in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case no. 286 of 2014.
