JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-03-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is languishing in jail since 22.01.2015 in a complaint case in which cognizance has been taken for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. The basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfilment of the dowry demand.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is still ready to keep his wife with full dignity and honour, however, learned counsel for the complainant submits that the petitioner has performed second marriage. Considering the nature of accusation, period under custody and the present stand of the petitioner, let the above
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8481 of 2015 (2) dt.04-03-2015 2/2 named petitioner be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Purnea in connection with Complaint Case No. 3674 of 2012.
