The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Muzaffarpur Excise Case No.157 of 2016 registered under Sections 47(a) and 54 of the Excise Act.

The accusation is of recovery of 29 bottles, each containing 180 ml. Indian Made Foreign liquor, and four bottles, each containing 750 ml. Indian Made foreign liquor, from the shop of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.05.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the
