2. The present writ application has been filed for the following reliefs:- "(a) For issuance of a direction, order or writ, including writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondent authorities, specially the respondent Nos.

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1875 of 2025(3) dt.21-08-2025 2/3 2 to 5, to recover the petitioner's 14 and half years old minor grand-daughter from the illegal custody of private respondent nos. 6 to 8 (accused in Kishanpur P.S.

Case No. 289 of 2024), and to hand over the custody of the minor victim girl to her Grand-father (petitioner)/legal guardian.

(b) For any other relief/reliefs that the petitioner may be found to be entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the present case."

3. The petitioner is the grandfather of the corpus who has filed Complaint Case No. 14C/2024, however, after lodging of the complaint, a first information report giving rise to FIR No. 5800016240289 (Annexure 'P/1') has been registered on 19.12.2024.

4. Pursuant to the order dated 01.08.2025 passed by this Court, the Corpus has been recovered. In this regard, copy of Memo No. 2963/2025 dated 19.08.2025 under signature of the Officer-in-Charge, Kishanpur Police Station addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Supaul and the order of the Child Welfare Committee as contained in Letter No. 580 dated 19.08.2025 addressed to the Rehabilitation Officer of Alpwas Grih, Supaul have been placed before this Court. It appears that the victim is a minor aged about fifteen years and she has been kept in the Alpwas Grih, Supaul as no one from her family has

5. In the opinion of this Court, so far as this writ application is concerned, it has become infructuous. The petitioner is at liberty to seek his remedy, if any available to him in accordance with law.
