JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 31-10-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs - "(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing of the Letter No. 558 dated 18.11.2011 issued under the signature of Sub-Divisional Officer, Chakia, Est Champaran as contained in Annexure-3 to the writ petition whereby and whereunder the S.D.O., Chakia, East Champaran directed to the Block Supply Officer, Chakia to make allotment of Ration & Kerosene oil in favour of respondent no. 5 for Kuria Panchayat.

(ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to give allotment of Ration and K. Oil in favour of petitioner for

Patna High Court CWJC No.22894 of 2011 dt.31-10-2018 Barmadia Gram Panchayat and Kuria Gram Panchayat as the petitioner was given the allotment of Ration and K. Oil prior to issuance of Annexure-3 which was given to the petitioner according to the petitioner's license granted under the Public Distribution System.

(iii) For grant of any other relief or reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled from the facts and circumstances of the case."

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the averments made in paragraph-4 of the counter affidavit to the effect that the impugned order dated 18.11.2011 has been recalled during the pendency of the writ petition, the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed.
