Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the first information report but in course of investigation, one co-accused Laxman Mandal was arrested and confessed his guilt disclosing the involvement of the petitioner and others and on the basis of aforesaid confessional statement, petitioner was made accused in this case. It appears from perusal of the entire case diary that except the aforesaid confessional statement of co-accused as well as criminal antecedent of the petitioner, there is nothing against him.
