Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 307 and some other ancillary Sections of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, seven FIR named accused persons, including this petitioner, armed with sword, Farsa and iron rod came and started abusing the informant's father and mother and on protest they caught them and also assaulted them with Farsa and sword as a result of which they sustained injuries. It is further alleged that the accused persons snatched golden chain and cash of Rs. 20,000/- from the mother of informant.

It is further submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against this petitioner and no specific overt act has been alleged against him. It is next submitted that during the course of investigation injured Binod Sah, father of the informant, also made general and omnibus allegation of assault against the petitioner and other accused persons. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 18.09.2021 and investigation in this case is complete. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
Considering the facts of the case and the period of custody of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Chakiya PS case No.196/2021.
