The petitioner ha renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 387of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is in custody since 19.08.2013.

The accusation is of demanding extortion from the petitioner.

Earlier the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Cr. Misc. No. 1928 of 2014 with a liberty to renew the prayer for bail after remaining in custody for one year. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5555 of 2015 (02) dt.13-02-2015 2/2 named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur in connection with Muffasil (Samastipur) P.S. Case No. 266 of 2013.

Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, the learned court below will be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner, if he substantially gets involved in some serious nature of the offence or defaults for two consecutive occasions.
