On the background of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, deceased Silan Devi, who was married with petitioner and was staying at her Sasural, was done to death. It has been submitted on behalf of petitioner that there happens to be inordinate delay in filing of the complaint petition without having cogent explanation. It has also been submitted that deceased died of natural death. Parents participated during course of cremation and subsequently thereof, in order to squeeze the petitioner got this case filed.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the prayer.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17201 of 2015 (3) dt.23-06-2015 Taking into account the allegation on its face coupled with the status of the petitioner, I do not see it a fit case for grant of bail. Prayer for bail is rejected.
