The petitioner is languishing in custody since 18.11.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code. The extortion demand was made through mobile which was found registered in the name of Rajesh Singh. Though, Rajesh Singh was not located but the investigating agency suggests that the call was made by the petitioner. Considering the fact that the mobile, from which call was made, was not found registered in the name of the petitioner, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12973 of 2015 (02) dt.01-04-2015 2/2 furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 209 of 2014.
Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, the learned court below will be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner, if he substantially gets involved in some serious nature of the offence or defaults for two consecutive occasions.
