This is a petition for grant of regular bail in a case under Sections-489(B), 489(C) and 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
On getting confidential information, petitioner was apprehended and from his possession Rs.24,000/- of 500 denomination and Rs.1,000/- of 1000/- denomination were seized which the prosecution alleged to be counterfeit. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that though so many Sections have been made applicable at the end of persecuting agency, but it happens to be, even considering the case of the prosecution suggesting possession of forged as well as counterfeit currency notes and on account thereof, is guided by
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14141 of 2015 (5) dt.13-08-2015 Section 489C of the Indian Penal Code and the same happens to be bailable.
Hence, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is ordered to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Nautan P. S. Case No. 47 of 2015.
