The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 414 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

One Manohar Kumar handed over a packet of medicine to informant asking him to hand over the same to the petitioner who was an under-trial prisoner and had been brought to court for production. The informant opened the packet and found a SIM hidden in the said packet. On query, the petitioner disclosed that the aforesaid SIM had to be delivered to one Mohan Baitha who had been lodged in jail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submission of the parties, let the petitioner, above named,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27494 of 2016 (3) dt.16-09-2016 2/2 be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Dumra P.S.
