====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 08-09-2017 On call, a prayer is being made for adjourning the case. The prayer for adjournment is refused.

The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure with a prayer to quash First Information Report in Shastrinagar P.S. Case No.527/2009. In the first paragraph itself, it has been stated that in the matter cognizance has already been taken.

Considering the fact that once after investigation, the police submitted chargesheet and cognizance order has also been passed , there is no reason to examine the veracity of the F.I.R that too while exercising power under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The petition stands dismissed.
