Petitioner seeks bail in Paharpur P.S. Case No. 66 of 2014 registered under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is that he assaulted the informant with Tangi on his head. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that one 1.1/2" x 1⁄4" muscle deep sharp cut injury was found and the injury appears to be simple in nature but the doctor has opined the grievous injury.
