2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bahadurganj P.S. Case No. 267 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. It is a case of torture and harassment for dowry. Petitioner is mother-in-law of the victim. Allegation of torture and harassment is general and omnibus and no overt act has been alleged against her. She is separate in mess and business. Husband of the victim surrendered and has been enlarged on bail.
4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58388 of 2024(2) dt.27-09-2024 2/2 mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in Bahadurganj Police Station Case No. 267 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
