The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Simri P.S. Case No. 83 of 2014 for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 353, 384, 427 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation as demonstrated from the F.I.R. is that the petitioner demanded the ransom amount of Rs. 10,000/- from the contractor. However, it appears that the First Information Report has been lodged by the Panchayat Sevak and not by the contractor from whom the rangdari is said to have been demanded. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a ward member and the F.I.R. has been lodged out

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36853 of 2014 (2) dt.11-02-2015 of the enmity.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Darbhanga in connection with Simri P.S. Case No. 83 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
