The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Keoti P.S. Case No. 19 of 2020 registered under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to dirty village politics. It is further submitted that petitioner is neither the PDS dealer nor the seized grain was of the PDS shop. Hence, no case under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act is made out against the petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner is a man of clean antecedent.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57817 of 2022(2) dt.11-04-2023 2/2 case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VII, Darbhanga in connection with Keoti P.S. Case No. 19 of 2020, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
