2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Complain Case No. 847 of 2018 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code . 3 . The prosecution story, in brief, is that the daughter of informant was married to this petitioner on 31.05.2017. After marriage , this petitioner and his family members started committing torture and harassment for fetching dowry and thereafter, under conspiracy on 15.11.2023 , all the accused persons finally killed the daughter of the informant. It is further stated that informant received information through phone that her daughter died due to electric shock .

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

He denied the allegation and stated that he has falsely been implicated in this case only because he happens to be the husband of the deceased. The informant is not an eye-witness. As a matter of fact, deceased was pregnant and she died due to miscarriage and excessive bleeding. Petitioner is in custody since 22.11.2023 . Charge-sheet has already been submitted.

5 . Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the delay in lodging the complaint case and the period of custody, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Gopalganj in connection with Kateya P. S. Case No. 485 of 2023 .
