2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is a case of torture and harassment for dowry.

4. Petitioner no.1 is mother-in-law, petitioner no.2 is father-in-law and petitioner no.3 is Devar of the victim. Allegation of torture and harassment is general and omnibus and no overt act has been alleged against them. Petitioner claims

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, East Champaran at Motihari, in connection Complaint Case No. C-993 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
