The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

It is contended that as per allegation, 45 pouches each containing 200 ml, i.e., total 9 litres of country-made liquor were recovered from the motorcycle which was being driven by the petitioner. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 21.07.2017. Case No. 152 of 2017 with a condition that if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
