Students or guardians are to make sure that the courses offered by such institution have due approval under the AICTE Act. If the petitioners' institution offers courses which do not

The stand of the University is that the two courses, which is BBM and BCA are courses which require no recognition from AICTE. If the two courses are the only courses which are being offered by the institution in question then the notice of the Science and Technology Department is of no consequence. But if they are offering courses and creating impression upon gullible students with regard to some other courses and degrees then surely they need to introspect and take necessary corrective steps in this regard. The writ application stands disposed of with the observation, as above.
