The petitioner is languishing in custody since 25.11.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 448, 307, 353, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the informant being a College staff was assaulted by co-accused Prem Kumar Yadav with fists and slaps when the petitioner and co-accused Kumar assaulted with iron rod.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for a petty dispute the accusation has been levelled. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2587 of 2015 (05) dt.17-03-2015 2/2 petitioner has no criminal antecedent and similarly situated coaccused Gautam Kumar has been granted bail vide Cr. Misc. No. 41675 of 2014. The petitioner is appearing at the Post Graduate Examination.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 539 of 2014.
