The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ladania P.S. Case No. 67 of 2016, registered under Sections 22, 23 and N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of Sessions Judge, Madhubani.
The accusation is recovery of three packets, each containing 17 Kg Ganja to the house of the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the house from where the alleged Ganja was said to be recovered is joint house and petitioner being the head of the family members has falsely been implicated in this case. A report has been received vide letter No. 274 of 2017, dated 22.07.2017 from the Court of Addl. District and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21311 of 2017 (3) dt.26-07-2017 2/2 Sessions Judge-I-cum- Special Judge, Madhubani, which shows that record is running for hearing on discharge petition. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is rejected.
