The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Section 47(a) of the Excise Act. It is contended that as per allegation, 30 litres of country-made liquor were recovered from the hotel of the petitioner. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 10.06.2017.
Considering the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, abovenamed is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36562 of 2017(2) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Excise Case No. 18 of 2011 with a condition that if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
