2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gaighat P.S. Case No. 172 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 319, 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2), 205, 317(5) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and others are said to be involved in the business of fake currency.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 8.7.2024.

5. Though, the allegation against the petitioner and others is that they are involved in the business of fake currency but in the FSL report, the currencies have not been found to be fake.

6. Considering the custody of the petitioner and the fact that the currencies were not found to be fake, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Muzaffarpur/concerned Court below in connection with Gaighat P.S. Case No. 172 of 2024.

8. As a condition of this order, the petitioner, after being released on bail is directed to co-operate in the trial either by appearing personally or through his lawyer in the trial Court on each and every date fixed by the trial Court. Non-compliance of the condition will result in cancellation of the bail bonds of the petitioner.
