This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Semra P.S.Case no.68 of 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of causing death of the deceased, who happens to be father.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is no direct evidence against the petitioner to cause death of the deceased and he has been made accused in this case only on the basis of suspicion. Further submission is that he is in custody for about four months.

Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that it appears to be a case of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44719 of 2017 (3) dt.06-11-2017 2/2 honour killing by the petitoner and others, moreover, the petitioner being father of the deceased has not informed the police. Having heard both sides and in view of facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage, however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the commitment of the case and after commitment of case he will try to conclude it within a period of nine months.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
