The petitioner is in custody since 10-7-2014 in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No. 187/2014.

The allegation against the petitioner is that a pickup van bearing no. B.R. 31 G 7594 was intercepted and from the said van two gunny bags of Ganja was recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had merely taken a lift in the said van and the recovery was not from his conscious possession. It is also submitted that the seizure list does not indicate his signature and that he has been in custody for almost more than seven months and he has no criminal

Considering the aforementioned submission, let the petitioner Bijoy Rai @ Bijay Rai be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act i.e., Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No. 187/2014.
