In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No.256 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 279, 337, 338, 427, 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act.

The Police intercepted the vehicle of the petitioner loaded with illegal wine, which led to seizure. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the vehicle, having no connection with the illegal trade. He further submits that the petitioner is in jail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39408 of 2016 (4) dt.18-10-2016 2/2 since 19.07.2016.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10, 000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M. Sherghati, Gaya, in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No.256 of 2016.
