The petitioner seeks bail in Special Case No. 5904 of 2019 arising out of P.R. P.S. Case No. 96 of 2019, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

It is alleged in the written report that 26.640 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from Tempo bearing registration No.BR-01PF-5437. Petitioner is said to be driver of the aforesaid Tempo Petitioner is in custody since 4.7.2019 having clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52139 of 2019(2) dt.27-08-2019 2/2 of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna, in connection with Special Case No. 5904 of 2019 arising out of P.R. P.S. Case No. 96 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be close relatives of the petitioner.
