JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-04-2015 I have perused the report sent by the learned Incharge Additional Sessions Judge 5th, West Champaran, Bettiah with regard to status of Sessions Trial No. 70 of 2013 arising out of Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 210 of 2012 from which it appears that two prosecution witnesses out of 14 have already been examined.
Keeping in view the specific allegation against the petitioner as contained in the First Information Report, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner the privilege of regular bail at this stage when the trial is going on.
The Court observes that the Court below must ensure that the trial is expedited.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8262 of 2015 (3) dt.10-04-2015 This application is rejected.
The petitioner shall have the liberty to approach this Court for renewing his prayer for bail after six months, if in the meanwhile the trial is not concluded.
