The petitioner, namely, Chammu Manjhi is in custody in connection with Khijarsarai P.S. Case No.87 of 2016 under Section 47 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. It is alleged that from possession of the petitioner 10 litres Mahua liquor along with some Mahua was recovered. Considering the nature of allegation and the period of detention, I direct that the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000.00 (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
