This is an application for bail in connection with Ahiyapur P.S.Case No. 57 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of abduction of wife and two daughters of the informant.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has voluntarily surrendered and no such occurrence has taken place and now he is in custody since 12.6.2017. Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that the statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. shows that she was abducted by the petitioner on the point of gun.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39164 of 2017 (3) dt.31-08-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest.
