Case No.385 of 2014 for the offence punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Apprehending arrest, the petitioner filed A.B.P. No.1824 of 2014 in the court of the Sessions Judge, Bhagalpur. The same was dismissed on 20.8.2014. Hence, this application for grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

One development that has taken place after dismissal of the said anticipatory bail petition is that the informant has prayed for compounding of the offence.

No.37479 of 2014 (2) dt.26-03-2015 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstance of the case case, in the event of arrest, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur, in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No.385 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
