This is a petition for grant of regular bail in a case under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the petitioner along with one Somar Yadav and two unknown culprits came and at the point of pistol snatched Rs,16,000/- to 17,000/- from the meat shop of the informant. It is further alleged that this petitioner was caught hold by the villager and handed over to the Police on 25.02.2015. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the First Information Report itself it is mentioned that the petitioner was apprehended and handed over to the police but no recovery was made at that time from the possession of the petitioner. It is submitted that the petitioner is accused in twelve criminal cases as per paragraph 19 of the case diary.

Hence, having regard to the facts and circumstances

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17689 of 2015 (4) dt.18-08-2015 2/2 of the case, the petitioner above named is ordered to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri S.K. Ray, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jehanabad in connection with Shakurabad P. S. Case No. 111 of 2013, subject to the condition that the petitioner will file Hazri in the nearest police station once in a fortnight for one year and one of the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner who will file affidavit to the effect that the petitioner shall not involve in such type of activity in future and if any criminal case of such nature is lodged against the petitioner then the police station in which the petitioner shall file Hazri shall inform the Court and the Court below shall cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
