Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 307, 435/34 of the IPC and section 3 and 4 of DP Act.
As per the prosecution case, all the accused persons including this petitioner killed the daughter of the informant by setting her on fire due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is submitted that petitioner is mother in law of the deceased.
Thrust of accusation is against husband who is already in custody. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and has got nothing to do with the affairs of the couple. There is no allegation of any abatement or instigation against the petitioner. However counsel for the state vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

No.59711 of 2022(2) dt.22-12-2022 2/2 Considering the facts of the case, in the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Buxar in Buxar Town P.S. Case No. 550 of 2021 (GR Case No. 2914 of 2021) subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
