2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tetarhat P.S. Case No. 84 of 2021 dated 11.08.2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

3. The petitioner was granted bail by this Court vide order dated 24.05.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 56150 of 2021.

4. It appears that the petitioner jumped his bail bonds and did not appear before the court below on five dates.

5. As such, his bail bonds were cancelled on 01.12.2022.

6. Now, the petitioner is in custody since

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60246 of 2023(2) dt.08-12-2023 2/2 03.08.2023 and there has not been any substantial progress in the case.

7. Considering the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions JudgeV-cum-Exclusive Special Court-2 Excise Act, Lakhisarai in connection with Tetarhat P.S. Case No. 84 of 2021.

8. However, his not attending the court on two consecutive dates without seeking prior approval from the court below will again render his bail liable to be cancelled.
