Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 376(D)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to prosecution case itself, it were coaccused, Md. Mukhtar and Md. Sahabuddin, who committed rape and murder of the deceased. So far as petitioners are concerned, there is only allegation that they advised other accused to conceal the injured so that they could be saved from the long hands of law.
