JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. (i) For the payment of arrear salary from 28.02.1992 to 31.01.2004 excluding the period 01.12.1999 to 27.06.2000 of Rs. 4,07,555.27/- (Four laes seven thousand fife hundred fifty five & twenty seven paise).

(ii) That for payment of interest @ 18.5% P.A. on this amount of Rs.4,07,555 for the period from 28.02.1992 to 31.01.2004 and up to August, 2021 is Rs. 1,13,03,138.40/-

Patna High Court CWJC No.19630 of 2021(2) dt.21-03-2024 2/2 (One crore thirteen lacs three thousand one hundred thirty eight & forty paisa).

(iii) For payment of arrear Group Life Insurance amount with interest is Rs.88,433.36/- (Eighty eight thousand four hundred thirty three and thirty six paisa).

(iv) For payment of interest @ 18.5% on arrear pension of Rs. 18,05,561 is Rs. 1,12,70,114 for the period 01.02.2004 to 28.02.2017 (payment date of arrear pension) and up to August, 2021 as per order of Supreme Court of India."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
