This is an application for bail in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 272 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Section 30 of Bihar Excise Act, 2016.
Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of 50 litres of liquor.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner being a lady has falsely been implicated in this case and she is in custody since 4.7.2017 having clean antecedent. Heard learned APP also.
Having heard both sides and considering the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38296 of 2017 (3) dt.23-08-2017 2/2 thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District Judge-VI-cum-Special Judge, Nalanda at Biharsharif, in connection with Laheri P.S.Case No. 272 of 2017, subject to the conditions :- (i) One of the bailors should be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of court concerned, (ii) Petitioner will co-operate in trial and appear in court on each and every date fixed in the case, failing which her bail bond shall be cancelled.
