The petitioner seeks bail in Khagaria (Chitragupta Nagar) P.S. Case No. 27 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant, Jr. Electric Engineer, Electric Supply Division, Khagaria, alleged that Dilip Kumar posted wrong entry in the computer and issued four receipts of receiving of electric bills and thereby he caused loss of Rs. 3,16,735/-. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. There is absolutely no material against the petitioner. The only allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner received Rs. 500/- from a consumer but did not

It is further submitted that the petitioner helped Dilip Kumar in posting wrong entry in the computer about receipt of the electric bills. Similarly situated co-accused Birbal Kumar in Cr. Misc. No. 30529 of 2016 on 08.09.2016 and Dilip Kumar in Cr. Misc. No. 13719 of 2016 on 25.04.2016 have already been enlarged on bail. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in Khagaria (Chitragupta Nagar) P.S.
